READY, SET, READ:
Jack and the Beanstalk
In conjunction with the Summer Reading Challenge, supported by the Youth Sports Trust, Natalie Wilcox developed a sports-themed adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk, for Reading Libraries from 26th July till 29th July, and adapted the script for a livestream on Monday 28th August at 7pm, accessible to the visually impaired. Alongside the theatre production, we also developed a music video.
The play involves repetition and interaction to encourage language development. We have been delighted to reach D/deaf audiences and hope to engage more with the community as we progress.
