Now booking into theatre spaces and residential homes in the UK: This is a show and workshop opportunity, you can be part of the show, by singing from your seats, and/or come along beforehand to a musical theatre workshop.

Love can make you do some funny things. Come along and find out just what!
An afternoon of musical theatre celebrating love, in memory of Elizabeth Knowles
Ready, Set, Read, Jack and the Beanstalk ran successfully Reading Libraries between Weds 26th till Sat 29th July 2023 and we presented a livestream on Monday 28th August 2023 at 7pm, with a version including closed captions, and one with audio description for the visually impaired. This production, its accompanying workshop, online gallery, hip hop music video and livestream were supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Our BSL-signed performance and workshop were well attended, and we would like to ensure we reach more D/deaf audiences with future performances. Thank you to Julia Faulkner for running our drama workshop.
In conjunction with the Summer Reading Challenge, supported by the Youth Sports Trust, Natalie Wilcox developed a sports-themed adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk, for Reading Libraries from 26th July till 29th July 2023, and adapted the script for a livestream on Monday 28th August at 7pm, accessible to the visually impaired. Alongside the theatre production, we also developed a music video. The play involved repetition and interaction to encourage language development. We were delighted to reach D/deaf audiences and hope to engage more with the community as we progress.
